The CDAP is prepared keeping in view the objectives and goals of the NADP/RKVY of Government of India and Planning Commission and also the 'Road Map to Agriculture' enunciated by the Government of Bihar in its agricultural policy of 2008. The CDAP is not only to achieve 4 per cent growth rate in XI Plan period but also to mitigate the poverty, unemployment, vulnerability and more importantly sustainable agriculture productivity.
